This project involves the preparation of a design to improve the facilities and safety of cyclists and pedestrians in the area known as Newvale in Shankill. The neighbourhood is located in close proximity to two schools, a library and local health centre and is subject to numerous pedestrian and cycle trips as well as traffic congestion at school drop off and pick-up times and local traffic rat-running.
