Project Description

The N63 Abbeyknockmoy to Annagh Hill scheme entails two discreet sections of the N63 totalling approximately 3.2km with both sections to be upgraded on the existing alignment to Type 2 Single Carriageway. CH2M Barry have been commissioned by the NRA to be the main Design consultant for the project. This scheme is to be brought through from stage (i) Concept and Feasibility to Stage (v) Handover and Close out Post Construction.

In 2016 the scheme progressed through Stage (ii) Phase 3 Design, Part VIII Planning, Complying with the Habitats Directive and Phase 4 CPO Oral Hearing.

The scheme has recently progressed through stage (iii) Tender Action Evaluation and Award following a detailed design and documentation process carried out by CH2m Barry in accordance with the latest construction procurement documents released in 2016 by Office of Government Procurement.

The scheme is currently under construction and Due for completion in early 2018.
